3D (3-Dimensional) archery is widely popular in Minnesota, and the MSAA puts together one of the best 3D tournaments in the state.
Like all MSAA tournaments, the State 3D travels from place to place and is hosted in Thief River Falls this year. The 3D is a tournament that features realistic hunting situations where full-sized animals are the targets, and offers the very best with regard to family archery entertainment, with camping facilities often situated nearby.
3D is an outdoor activity where a participant walks a course stopping at shooting stations to shoot at animals along lanes that vary in distance to the target. There are usually about 30 shooting stations, and an archer should come prepared to shoot at targets that are anywhere from 10 to 50 yards away. There are shooting markers placed at different distances depending upon the age division.

Participate in the Memorial 5K Walk/Run during the Pennington County Fair in Thief River Falls, MN to fund an annual scholarship given to a graduate of Lincoln High School Thief River Falls going into the Nursing profession. This event is organized and sponsored by the Class of 1990.
