RiverFest is a community celebration in Thief River Falls, Minnesota held annually the first weekend of August featuring talented musicians performing in Hartz Park.
This annual fair has a huge midway, carnival rides, food stands, 4-H exhibits, FREE bandshell entertainment, bingo, raffle, chainsaw sculpturing & much more! This year's dates are July 17-21, 2019.
You'll find excellent fishing year-round on the rivers. The Red Lake River, in the Thief River Falls area, offers excellent fishing. Thief River Falls is a safe city to bike around and there are several fun places to ride. The 7-mile scenic River Walk is a wonderful place to bike with your family, or the 3+ miles of multi-use trails going 3 different directions from the Greenwood St. roundabout are great options too.
