Each month we’ll choose a cookbook, everyone picks a recipe to make at home, and then we’ll come together to share our dishes (and our cooking adventures).
Stop by the Library and we will have the cookbook out for recipes to pick.
This months cookbook will be Amrikan: 125 Recipes from the Indian American Diaspora by Khushbu Shah (published June 2024) is a celebrated cookbook and cultural history that highlights the inventive, blended cuisine of Indian immigrants in America. It offers 125 recipes that combine traditional Indian flavors with American pantry staples, featuring dishes like Saag Paneer Lasagna, Makhani Mac and Cheese, and Gulab Jamun made with Bisquick.
